Cape Cod-bred singer-songwriter Nic Pool arrived in 2018 with the release of his debut singles “The Falls” and “Rockets,” which earned playlist support from Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Index and In Electric Dreams playlists and Amazon Music's Fresh Indie and Introducing Indie sets, as well as taste makers including i-D, Kick Kick Snare, Disco Naivété, All Things Go, The Wild Honey Pie and others. “The Falls” was also remixed by Daniel D’artiste (of Jaden and Willow Smith’s MSFTSRep collective) and JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN), and became "one of 2018's best breakthrough hits," per Culture Collide, topping Hype Machine as a Most Blogged Track.
A subtle storm of jazz pop, indie rock, soul and R&B, Nic Pool returns in 2020 with his self-titled debut EP Nic Pool, a four-track set co-written and produced by his partner Emmy Wildwood while the pair were quarantined at their home studio during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, Nic was the frontman of New York City dream pop-rock outfit Twin Wave, whose singles “Matador,” “Into The Night,” “Feel You,” and others have earned over 750,000 plays across platforms and features on EW, Playboy, Vice’s Noisey, USA Today, Clash, and others. The group's live highlights include sets at CMJ, the New Music Seminar and MTV's O Music Awards.
